What you see is that the next days, 819, 820, 821 and all of a sudden it's 824. Now, this process will be repeated across, so I'm going pull it as far as I can. I will do the same fill and "okay", double-click. First, I want to change the alignment to be vertical. We're going to do the formatting here as well. We can go back to "home" and change this from "date" to a "short date", which is what I want. Days are represented by actually a number when data processing is occurring. The second one should be this day so I'm going to do a workday because if it falls on a weekend, I want to ignore it. Now, if you double-click on this, it will adjust the width. I'm also going to give it a color so it would look nice, and this is what it will look like. I want it to be vertical for ease of reading so I'm going to right-click on this, go to "format cell", go to "alignment" and turn it vertical. I'm going to put the first timeline to be the start date of this project. To do that, I'm going to split the dates over here. Now I want to make the Gantt chart for this. This will return 16 business days that this project will take to complete. To find the project duration, I am going to use a function network days and click on the "start date" and comma, click on the "end date". At this point, my end date is simply, I'm going to take the maximum value of what I see here, is 7th of September. I'm just going to highlight it, put the cross here, double-click. That means that on 819 we are ready to hire our movers and it will finish workday we click on the date, and same before we click on the cell that has the duration minus 1. Again, we will do workday to make sure that we would avoid any weekend work and comma 1. Then the next task will start exactly on this day plus 1. We're working two days on this task, 817 and 818. We're going to put minus 1 and this will make it 818. However, we should put the number that we see in that cell, which is in this case C7 minus 1, because otherwise it will add two extra days plus the day that we will start. The first thing I'm going to do is the same thing that I have done in my earlier video, set this to this date, and then add "workday" so we won't work on the weekend starting from this day and put the duration. These are the days, the duration of each task, and we wish to start this project, let's say on the 17th of August. We have the same example, moving an office, and these are all sequential. This example I have used in an earlier video where I showed you how to make a Gantt chart using a stacked horizontal bar chart. In this video, I'm going show you another method of creating a Gantt chart.
